Dan Kelly led his feet down the stairs after he got up and got dressed. He walked to the front door that had a narrow vertical window through the center. The window wasn’t so easy to look through. It was purposely obscured to allow for privacy. He looked through to see if the sanitation people had picked up the trash. Not yet. I guess they are on another block doing their rounds. He thinks, I hope they come soon. I want to put the empty bin in the back where it belongs and not worry about it anymore. Dan Kelly tries too hard sometimes. Overthinking the small stuff. Sometimes for him brushing his teeth or cutting his finger nails becomes a project. Dan Kelly does much better when he has something to focus on. He likes to think a lot but he tries not to think about thinking. It’s kind of interesting for someone who tends to over analyze stuff, when you ask him about God he says that God is simple. That’s it, no explanation, nothing more than that. God is simple.
